Hello,
I want to use the MySQL FULLTEXT indexing capabilities with Japanese text.
So I understand the first step is to slice Japanese text into words.
Question for a Japanese expert:
- is Kakasi the right tool to do this? (I understand it converts into
hiragana/ katakana - but there are many homophones in Japanese?)
- where can I find a list of Japanese stop words ( ??????)?
- has anybody compiled a Windows binary? (Frank Kromann does not list it on
his site)
Thanks
??????????.
