Hi all.
I want to propose memcache extension.
This extension allows you to interact with memcached (a flexible memory object caching daemon
designed
to alleviate database load in dynamic web applications by storing objects in memory. It's
based on
libevent to scale to any size needed, and is specifically optimized to avoid swapping and always
use non-blocking I/O (c)).
More info about memcached you can find here: http://www.danga.com/memcached
Sources of the extensions can be found here: http://tony2001.phpclub.net/memcache-0.1.1.tar.gz
It's still under development, but this version was tested by some people and seems to be
working.
The extension doesn't depend on any libraries and interacts with daemon through rather simple
plain-text protocol, using PHP streams.
