Hi pecl-list,
I've just installed the cyrus extension by the pear installer on a
Debian Woody Linux.
After installing some dev-packages I got it successfully ;-)
Looking at the php manual I only got a
"This function is currently not documented; only the argument list is available."
:-(
I know how to work with cyrus using the "cyradm shell",
so I don't need a cyrus tutorial.
I just would like to know how to authenticate to cyrus and then how to send a query.
Is there a way to get the query result from cyrus, eg to get info about quota?
I tried this with the CLI, but it didn't work,
the mailbox 'phptest' wasn't created by cyrus:
<?php
$c = cyrus_connect("localhost");
if ($c === false) {
die("Error: couldn't connect to cyrus.\n");
}
echo "connected to cyrus\n";
$a = cyrus_authenticate($c, "", "", "cyrus");
// $a = NULL here
$success = cyrus_query($c, "cm user.phptest");
// $success = true
cyrus_close($c);
echo "finished.\n";
?>
I guess my authentication is wrong, but I don't know
what the parameters stands for at all...
Any help would be very appreciated.
Regards,
Matthias
