Hi All, I'm interested in turning this library: http://freshmeat.net/projects/libgcrypt/ Which does GnuPG (Pretty Good Privacy) cryptography -- into a PHP module. Does anyone know if this has been tried before? Google doesn't seem to think so. Any input, advice, support, warnings, or volunteers much appreciated.
there's something similar. http://freshmeat.net/projects/gpgext/ Wraps round gpg made easy libs. I tried it, but I couldn't get it to compile with a modern release of php. I tried re-writing it, but gpgmadeeasy has changed *dramatically* since this module was written - and the docs haven't changed. After a few days of serious headache I gave up pretty much (and my free time has dropped like a stone). From a quick look over libgcrypt though, it looks pretty cool. I'd be up for helping with this in any way I can do.
