cybercash doesn't compile anything,no errors

Trying to get cybercash support with php 4.3.4.
I've installed php and then in cybercash extention I did
phpize
./configure --with-cybercash=...
make
Build complete.
(It is safe to ignore warnings about tempnam and tmpnam).
but doesn't build anything (I expected a .so php module)
make install doesn't do anything too.
How to use it?
