It appears the pecl build is not using the correct config files. libxml should be referencing libxml2_a_dll.lib, but rather it is referencing libxml2_a.lib I'm not sure how/where pecl4win updates its code, so don't know where the config is coming from. Rob

This is still the case - any extension which depends on libxml has been failing to compile in the 5_2 branch since 2008-01-11. See http://pecl4win.php.net/download.php/blog/5_2/compilelog.txt Perhaps I am late to the party.
