I'm trying to call a Stored Procedure that returns a Cursor using PDO. I've been able to successfully do this by using the OCI functions, but no such luck with PDO. Does anyone have any examples? I've researched this on the internet, but haven't found anything other than people saying not to use PDO.
http://www.oracle.com/technology/pub/articles/php_experts/otn_pdo_oracle5.html says "Currently PDO only provides forward-read-only cursors, but will provide (when supported by the underlying driver) scrollable cursors, REF-CURSOR and using cursors for making positioned updates and updatable scrolling cursors." No one has done the "will" part yet. Please follow up on php-db@lists.php.net because the pecl-dev list is for extension maintence questions. (I suggest using OCI8.)
