Hi guys, i'm trying to use my first PECL extension but i'm having some problems loading it on my Mac OS X 10.5.5 (Leopard). I've downloaded the HTTP extension and i've installed it via PECL and later even by manual compilation using phpize. The extension is placed on the correct path "/usr/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20060613/", it is also the path recognized by 'php.ini'. However, even after i've added "extension=http.so" on 'php.ini' and restarting apache all the times i've made changes, nothing happened and the extension was still no being loaded. I assume the problem is all about the 'php.ini' file, so i would like to know if besides the "extension_dir=" line and the "extension=" line is there any other thing to change in php.ini assuming this is my first extension and the available 'php.ini' is actually the native Leopard 'php.ini.default' file. By the way, by compiling using phpize, is there any flag to use when doing the "./configure" command? Maybe the problem is in the compilation, but i've tried all this steps when installing with PECL and it turned to have the same problem.I need this extension working desperatly for a college project so i appreciate any kind of answer. Regards Rui Quelhas
