I don't know if your extension is designed to work under Windows,
however it does not compile with the following results:

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\INCLUDE\xlocale(342) :
warning C4530: C++ exception handler used, but unwind semantics are
not enabled. Specify /EHsc
c:\php\src\ext\xsplit\xsplit.h(563) : warning C4101: 'chunkCounter' :

c:\php\src\ext\xsplit\xsplit.h(568) : warning C4101: 'num' :
unreferenced local variable
c:\php\src\ext\xsplit\xsplit.h(633) : warning C4244: '=' : conversion
from 'int' to 'float', possible loss of data
c:\php\src\ext\xsplit\xsplit.h(640) : error C2668: 'log' : ambiguous
call to overloaded function
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
9.0\VC\INCLUDE\math.h(567): could be 'long double log(long double)'
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio
9.0\VC\INCLUDE\math.h(519): or 'float log(float)'
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio

match the argument list '(int)'
c:\php\src\ext\xsplit\xsplit.h(673) : warning C4018: '<' :
