I'm experiencing the following APC problem. Before I open a bug, I just wanted to check to see
if I was missing something obvious.
ENVIRONMENT:
WinXP
Apache 2.2.13
PHP 5.2.11
APC 3.0.19 (also applies to php_apc-3.1-svn-20091006-5.3-VC9-x86)
PROBLEM:
Apache crashes if APC's apc.stat config parameter is set to anything but 0. When apc.stat is
set to zero, everything appears to work fine. However, file changes are obviously not automatically
detected by APC, thus requiring an APC flush.
I have tried playing with other APC config settings, but none solve the problem and crashes always
relate back to the setting of apc.stat.
Here is an extract of the non-working httpd.conf:
[APC]
extension=php_apc.dll
apc.enabled = 1
apc.shm_segments = 1
apc.shm_size = 64
apc.optimization = 0
apc.num_files_hint = 1000
apc.ttl = 0
apc.gc_ttl = 3600
apc.cache_by_default = On
apc.slam_defense = 0
apc.file_update_protection = 2
apc.enable_cli = 0
apc.stat=1
Any help or pointers would be appreciated.
Thank you.
