I do not have an atlmfc\include directory, so this does seem to be the issue.
C:\Program Files\Microsoft
SDKs\Windows\v6.1\Samples\winui\TSF\tsfcompart\winres.h
C:\Program Files\Microsoft
SDKs\Windows\v6.1\Samples\winui\TSF\tsfapp\winres.h (identical to
tstcompart)
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.1\Include\WinResrc.h
C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v6.0A\Include\WinResrc.h
(identical to V6.1)
The comments in winres.h say ...
// This is a part of the Microsoft Foundation Classes C++ library.
// Copyright (C) 1992-1998 Microsoft Corporation
// All rights reserved.
//
// This source code is only intended as a supplement to the
// Microsoft Foundation Classes Reference and related
// electronic documentation provided with the library.
// See these sources for detailed information regarding the
// Microsoft Foundation Classes product.
// winres.h - Windows resource definitions
// extracted from WINUSER.H and COMMCTRL.H
So, this does look like I'm missing MFC after all.
Dropping the winres.h I do have into the wincache folder allows for
the extension to compile. So, need to find MFC for Express Edition (if
it exists separately).
Thanks for that.
