Problems installing fribidi with pecl

Hi all, I am not able to get fribidi 0.10.x or 0.19.x to build using PECL. I have tried this on both Debian Lenny and CentOS 5.2. Do anyone have any in sight to this problem? and How to work around it? On Debian: apt-get install php5 apt-get install php-pear apt-get install libfribidi0 libfribidi-dev pecl install fribidi this fails to find fribidi-config if I have fribidi-0.19.1 because this version use pkg-config. I installed fribidi-0.19.1 and hand created fribidi-config and got the result below. I have also tried with fribidi-0.10.9 and got the same results.
