Hi!
I'm not sure why but the ZMM seems to be broken in some cases, unix or windows, as leaks are not reported. I can't do much to fix that right now :)Could you please elaborate on what are the cases where ZMM seems to be broken? Reproduction would be nice.
However there are alternatives, on windows you can use --enable-crt-debug and disable the MM usage (set USE_ZEND_ALLOC=0 first in the cmd line) and it will report some leaks. There is also tools to detect leaks on windows, some are free like ApplicationVerifier (MS tool), windbg can help as well.I also read that there was some success with using Valgrind under Wine... I found no reports of anybody doing this with PHP, but that also could be direction to explore. Commercial tools like Purify work pretty well on PHP but unfortunately they cost big bucks :( -- Stanislav Malyshev, Zend Software Architect stas@zend.com http://www.zend.com/ (408)253-8829 MSN: stas@zend.com
