I just tried on a system with only 5.2.13 installed on it and "pecl install intl" worked fine and produced extension loaded without problems. So I strongly suggest AGAIN that you reinstall PHP and make sure you do NOT install different PHP versions using same prefix. --Jani 15.3.2010 17:33, Dave Parrott wrote:

Well, I just talked to some of my other team mates and I guess they have been working/hacking around this issue themselves. I used pecl uninstall intl and pecl install intl a number of times and am still getting the error. I've also verified that I am using php 5.2.10 on command line and apache. So, I'm not sure where the issue is. Maybe it's related to platform?
Does running the 'php-config' command show any helpful information? Perhaps it refers to 5.3. Regards, Philip
