Hi, I'm currently working on an extension that is able to read and modify ID3 Tags (the ones, that store artist, title, etc in mp3 files). The extension will support only ID3 v1.0 and v1.1. I'd like to include the extension in pecl, when finished and I'd like to ask for a proper name. Should a name it 'id3v1' and at a later point create a second extension 'id3v2', or should it be called 'id3' and just throw a warning, when reading newer files, until support for version 2 has been implemented? Or should I chose a completely different naming scheme? I'm usually developing packages for PEAR and there's a quite tight naming scheme, but as this is my first work for pecl, I'm not sure how the rules are. Best regards, Stephan
