Hello,
the PHP 5.2.x version won't work with PHP 5.3 due to changes in
arginfo macros. The dbase extension has been moved to PECL but there
has been no releases yet (it seems). Try checking out
http://svn.php.net/repository/pecl/dbase/trunk/
and compiling that.
Seems to compile against PHP 5.3.
