Hi!
A long long long ... time ago, i did send mail below to "michael", which
is autor/maintainer of Radius module.
Unfortunately, still no response from him.
So, as a last resort, i'm sending mail here. Hope someone can help with
this. :-)
H.

Hi!
I wrote small patch to your php-radius library, to implement RFC 3576.
This RFC adds few additional authentication methods, which require
specific handling of Message Authenticator & User Password.
In detail, the patch description:
- added check to generate random Message Authenticator ONLY when we are
doing radius Access Request
- removed zero-ing of Message Authenticator in
insert_request_authenticator function (not needed any more)
- enhanced check for PAP or CHAP password - the code will complain only
on Access Request or Accounting Request packets
- password attribute is always encoded (check removed as it's repeated)
- Message Authenticator is calculated on all packets, except Access Request
- more constants added to be accessible from PHP
Please let me know if you need additional description/explanation. The
code is tested on Cisco ISG platform.
If i found any bugs, i'll send you new patch.
Hrvoje
p.s. It seems that your mail mbretter@php.net doesn't work ...
