I wish to take over maintenance of pecl/gearman. The extension has not had a release in two years and is still in beta. I have made a number of attempts to contact the creator with no success. I have already fixed a number of bugs and scrubbed the bug list. I currently help maintain pecl/memcache and have done the last couple of releases for that extension. -- Herman Radtke hermanradtke@gmail.com | http://hermanradtke.com
