You've managed to find a non GPL library for syntax highlighting, and there are a number of us that really want that; I suspect that pecl/colorer will be born some time during LinuxTag. Hi, We would need a quickly cooked up simple colorer [1] extension for PHP, but I have no ambitiion to start digging into the extension generation process. Is there someone with a similar interest, who would be able to generate an extension for it? It would probably not be too difficult for people with experience in creating PHP extensions for a library.
