For objects, you can compare the ids (if you're interesting in identity, not equality).Just a correction – you have to compare the whole zend_object_value, not only the id (handle), but also the handlers pointer. It's possible (though not common), that an object reference has an handle (numeric id) to objects stored elsewhere. -- Gustavo Lopes
