There is a very small group working on it still. And by very small I mean very small, myself not
included I have not contributed in a while to the codebase. Cairo is already split and working well,
the others I am unsure about that is an Elizabeth thing.
We are always looking for Debian [durrrrr Ubuntu] packagers, everyone who raises their hand ends up
disappearing lol. However we did find out someone was maintaining a PPA thing on Launchpad already
for Ubuntu: http://squirrelshaterobots.com/programming/php-gtk/compiling-php-gtk2-on-ubuntu-10/#comment-401
however nobody has talked to this guy about the future, as far as I am aware. Also its not a default
repo anyway - being in a core repo would always be prime.
