Hello Rahul.
While you're at it, please fix the extension to work with recent PHP versions and take a look at the bug reports here:
https://bugs.php.net/search.php?search_for=&boolean=0&limit=30&order_by=&direction=DESC&cmd=display&status=Open&bug_type=All&package_name[]=PDO_INFORMIX&php_os=&phpver=&cve_id=&assign=&author_email=&bug_age=0&bug_updated=0
See also this thread:
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.php.pecl.devel/6854
there is a problem with extension dependencies not being implemented.
And I'd also very appreciate if you take some time to figure the legal issues
with the code in order to make it really OPEN source, not "watch, but do not touch" source.

Hi Bryan, I tried to reproduce your problem with the PHP script you have given. But it works fine for me with the both remote server and local server scenarios. You may facing this problem because of some odbc environment variables which i am not able to detect. If you are using some extra ODBC environment variable then please let us know about that. Please give us the odbc trace, this may help us in finding the exact problem in some extend. If you don't know how to take odbc trace then please go through following link https://www-304.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?uid=swg21323418 If possible then please try to simulate this test case in native c and run it with the same environment, If this will also give same exception then please open a PMR against Informix CSDK.
