Dear pecl, We are the PHP developers from Beijing koramgame. We have written a PHP extension and would like it listed within the PECL directory. This extension named ConstCache is an optimizer extension for PHP by C language. It imitates the API of Memcache, and adds some additional methods. In order to being beneficial to performance optimize, it uses small storage granularity and the way of sharing memory to store data and the data will never be deleted(can be clear all). Name ConstCache Summary A C extension for PHP Maintainers < angela.song@kunlun-inc.com> (lead) License PHP Link to the code https://github.com/angelasong/ConstCache Some details of ConstCache are as follows, A、the configuration of ConstCache: extension=constcache.so ; The key of semaphore (integer, user-defined) constcache.ksem=4567 ; The key of shared storage (integer, user-defined) constcache.kmem=4567 ; The size of allocated shared storage, measured in M constcache.memsize=32 ; The size of hash is 2^x, you’d better not exceed 20.The larger size you set, the faster it seeks ; but the cost of memory is more. constcache.hashpower=16 B. ConstCache API: It imitates the API of Memcache, and adds some additional methods. Usages are as follows: $cc = new ConstCache(); $cc->add("k", 111); echo $cc->get("k"); We hope this extenion could be helpful to some other people. We will publish our extension ConstCache in PECL later. Sincerely, Angela Song 2011-12-12 Angela Song
