Markdown parsing extension

I have made a front-end to a Markdown parser https://github.com/Tatsh/peg-markdown (this is my fork, only a few modifications and a current build of the parser). The extension is here: https://github.com/Tatsh/php-peg-markdown I would like it if config.m4 specified to build the parser code during the build but I cannot figure out how to do that. (The Gentoo instructions will not work as my web server hosting the file is not up at the moment.) I would like to submit this to pecl and maintain it. Thanks
