PHP Threading Extension

I'd like to add an extension to pecl, but someone has already used the name I'm using for an extension that hasn't been maintained for years. As I implement the same functionality what are the chances I can take over the name ?? As you might have guessed it's pthreads, it won't really make sense to call it anything else though I guess it could be renamed "threading" ... git://github.com/krakjoe/pthreads.git I have developed this in the last week or so in my spare time, so far as I can tell there are no leaks or really horrible errors ... everything appears to be working ... I've tested against 5.3.16 on 64bit and 32bit cpus ... if anyone would like to contribute a more worldly config.m4 it would be much appreciated :)
