Well, I would like to help out with the zeroconf extension, but until I was able to, I thought I'd continue working on this one. Changes: - renamed to dnssd(rendezvous is Apple's trademark, and the libraries and headers are all dnssd) - Used pecl_gen to create correct build structure - no longer uses temporary $_RENDEZVOUS variable, browsing is much cleaner - added dnssd_get_all_services, which returns an array of available services on the network - fixed some bugs that were causing unpredictable timeouts in browsing - Made myself feel better all around about the code. It's stable, usable and cross-platform. Things to do: - dnssd_register_service returns a resource. If the user does not keep that resource in a variable, the service is unregistered. It should be registered until dnssd_unregister_service is called or the script ends. Unfortunately, I couldn't put it up today, so it'll be up tomorrow. I'll reply with the url as soon as it's up. The README file has instructions on how to install the necessary libraries for linux and windows. John LeSueur
