Im not saying separate them out just if($bug_type == "Documentation Problem") { mail(phpdoc@lists.php.net.....) } as well as phpdev.. Maybe its an overkill.. Just an idea though I think its a good idea. That way, people on the doc list don't have to be subscribed to the dev list to get fresh doc bug reports. Not that there's that many. :)
I should have been more clear - I was agreeing. However, to state this explicitly, I believe that we should: Manage all bug reports, release candidate testing results, feature requests, documentation bugs, documentation requests, etc... using the same application. From this application, reports would be mailed to the appropriate PHP team. Bugs to the bug list (either dev or a new list), doc bugs and requests to the doc list, feature requests to the dev list, rc test results to qa and dev, etc... - zak
