A new and improved form has been posted at http://qa.php.net/build_tracker/ Most of the changes are based on a series of very good suggestions from Hellekin. I think that we still need to add extra fields for web servers and databases. Any thoughts on this? Surely you're right. I use Oracle 7.3.2 and Mysql in PHP and I don't see any reason why one can't use several databases. For instance, one can be developing an application that should support multiple DBs. And in this situation it looks reasonable to report in the tracker all the databases used.
I will add another field or two for server and database
Another point - where should one tell that he/she uses CGI version of PHP? IMO, it is important information. Or checkbox "Apache" means this?
Hmmm... I accidentally removed the Server API field - I will add this, along with a checkbox to indicate that the CGI version is being used.
Also, perhaps we should gather version information for the application(s) that are required to support certain extensions. (like GD, imap, etc...) Absolutely agree here.
I will add a new section for this. - zak
