Hello guyz, I've been missing for a few days ; glad to be here again.
I installed the module version of PHP-4.0.2 and still encounter this
silly problem of Apache crashing on startup.
The workaround still is the same : comment the LoadModule and AddModule
lines for PHP then start Apache ; comment out and restart.
But what if the server is a production server ?
Maybe someone came out with a broken-DSO-watchdog script ?
