Hi
I've just being experimenting with the configuration of PWS on NT
workstation, and it appears that the web server configuration instructions
shipped with php are incorrect for PWS on NT. Changing the registry seems to
have no effect, whereas changing the IIS metabase (as with IIS on NT Server)
does the trick.
It would appear that PWS on NT workstation is just IIS by another name.
I don't have access to any Windows 9x machines, so I assume that PWS on
those is based on an old version of IIS which uses the registry.
What I propose to do is to make the installer treat IIS and PWS on NT in the
same way, and do the registry editing stuff for PWS on Win 9x.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this?
Cheers
