hi,
in addition to "any news on testing" i found this email in my inbox.
there seem to be some problems with the sybase extension on windows.
since i don't have sybase i can't check if it is a genearl problem
with php or if it is only related to our php4win build.
maybe there is someone with a sybase installation who is willing to
test this.
cheers,
andreas

Thanks, but I've already tried the binaries from php4win. The
result is still a Dr.Watson (access violation) when I do a sybase_connect
or sybase_pconnect. Everything works fine under Linux but not in Windows
and I have a customer that "must" have it on a Windows Box.
There are other things that doesnt work under Windows for example the
Sybase parameters in the php.ini file is not read properly. Changes
doesn't turn up in phpinfo(). I've tested the sybase module on 4 different
Windows NT machines (standalone, cgi, and isapi) just to be sure, and it
still crashes.
Best Regards,
Magnus Jonsson

you can try the one from [ www.php4win.de ] if you want. should work
at least with php4 running as cgi.
