PHP 4.0 Bug #8225: Suddenly doesnt allow multiple psql connections from one php page (fwd)

Hi, is there anyone with a PostgreSQL setup who could verify the existence of this bug? I've committed a similar patch to the main branch (diff attached). How do you feel about the importance of this bug?
