I started to think about all of these errors that are
generated because of missing libraries.
Wouldn't it be good to make some general macro to be used
in all config.m4's for adding the libraries which checks whether
the library exists and bails out at the right place if it doesn't
and tells the user what is missing? Now there are no checks in
some of the extensions if the required library even exists..
