Hi Jeff,
The QA in the list name is for Quality Assurance, not Question and Answer.
A better place to ask this question is on the PHP-General mailing list (see
www.php.net/support.php for details) If you do choose to ask this question
there, beware of anyone who spends much time slagging either PHP or Perl.
They are both fine languages with different strengths.
IMHO PHP easier to use than Perl, while Perl has greater functionality.
(Whether this functionality is really needed for a shopping cart is
debatable ;)
