Can you test the latest CVS (in either the HEAD or 4.0.5 branch?)

Try configuring PHP with --disable-debug and setting CFLAGS

I'm actually pretty stumped here. I can't get a usable backtrace in
libphp4.so
I've overridden CFLAGS, and stuff is compiling correctly with '-g', but I
get this backtrace:
#0 0x40696c40 in ?? () from /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so
#1 0x406910b3 in ?? () from /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so
#2 0x4071c327 in ?? () from /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so
#3 0x4071c59f in ?? () from /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so
#4 0x406a91b2 in ?? () from /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so
#5 0x406a6ecc in ?? () from /usr/local/apache/libexec/libphp4.so
#6 0x806ac2e in run_cleanups ()
#7 0x806944d in ap_clear_pool ()
#8 0x80694c1 in ap_destroy_pool ()
#9 0x806943c in ap_clear_pool ()
#10 0x8078d7f in child_main ()
#11 0x807933c in make_child ()
#12 0x8079499 in startup_children ()
#13 0x8079ac6 in standalone_main ()
#14 0x807a263 in main ()
Apache's symbols load up fine, but there's nothing of use in the PHP4 so.
APXS is set to not strip on install, so it's not that. Apart from the -g
option to CC, is there anything else I should be doing to get the debug
symbols? I noticed php.sym in sapi/apache, which is a pretty small file, so
not much use :)
