With a QA hat, has anyone come up with a script which tests EVERY function
within PHP? group by group? so that people who compile in appropriate groups
can check its passed? Just out of interest? What to the developers use to
decide they feel it works?
It would make it 10000% easier if all the a tester needed to do for a quick
test was run a script or run a script per compiled in section, and work off
that..
Is this feasable? Nothing will ever spot the well, you have to define 1004
variables, after doing 12 ftp's with dbase compiled in and then printing it
wont notice the 33rd comment or something, but, it would mean an exceptionally
good way to be sure simple things work and given the number of people who
could then run it, they could easily say I compiled with these options and
these lines in the script failed.......
Or should I go hang my head in shame?
