Hi all,
there are quite a few reports about the IISConfig tool failing
because of an OCX control not registered in the system. I've made
a minor modification to it, and now it should:
1.a register MSComCtl.ocx, and if that fails,
1.b register ComCtl32.ocx
(MSComCtl.ocx is the same thing, just a newer version)
2. unregister the control registered in step 1.
I need this tested, but I don't have access to IIS, and Phill
cannot get his system to the state when the old configurator
fails (i. e. unregister the relevant ocx).
So, if you can test whether this really works where the old
installer fails, it'd be very appreciated.
