Maybe it's time to put the "Designed for Windows 2000" tag on PHP and stop
R&D efforts for the novice Windows operating systems? :)
That would certainly be convenient for development and QA.
Any idea how many users will be affected this?
I think it's important for PHP to run relatively well on Win98 because a lot of people use it for development.
I wouldn't try and solve problems for people who are having stability or load problems on Win98 unless of course it were also reproducible on NT which is the only Windows OS that can be used in production (barely).
