Hi,
I'm flattered to hear that ADODB could be used as a test-bed. There are many
limitations to this though.
ADODB doesn't test passing of COM objects as parameters to other COM object
methods currently. This was working in PHP 4.0.5 RC 1.
I'm sure there are many other COM features that won't be tested because
ADODB only supports a subset of COM available by PHP 4.0.1. I'm still
running a site somewhere on Windows 2000 with PHP 4.0.1pl2.
I think for regression tests its better to have simple COM scripts. Easy to
verify and debug.
