I would rather that we do this after we have looked for duplicates. I
am reluctant to close a unique bug just because there has been no
feedback for a little while.
But you won´t be reluctant on closing a lot of compile bugs related to the 4.0 release, what feedback time do you propose, 10,20,30 days. If we close it by accident and the users notifies us after +x days that the bug persists, no prob, reopen...
I think if it´s still a grave bug the users will reply promptly (like I´ve encountered after 1(TM) day already)...
