The category where addslashes and magic_quoting meet eachother is for
example "cgi-variable passing", or "http post and get functionality".
I´ve just had a talk with a user not knowing every detail configuring PHP, function relation and so on.
I knew that, and we should take care of a better structure for the manual.
a) All functions should be linked against configuration parameters related to them (addslashes->magic quotes, getenv->variables_order and so on...)
b) functions and function grouped should be grouped by usage and meaning
