I suppose I really ought to say that it was Redhat 7.1 with 2.4.14 SMP.

Basic apps including XSLT are running fine. I will be able to run more
tests once I have more of the server setup. I must say that it compiled
like a dream except the with-mysql=/usr order problem I had.
