Hello All,
For some of us [1], it has been quite some time since we have been
really active with the PHP QA effort.
If you have been following along with the Dev or QA lists, you will
have read that we are getting ready to roll one of the more important
releases in quite some time.
PHP 4.1.0 contains many bug fixes and some significant changes to how
PHP works.
I would love for the QA team to be able to give this RC a very thorough
testing. If you can, please take a few moments to build the RC, run
'make test' and send the results in to the list.
If you are feeling ambitious, drop by http://fooassociates.com/phpqa/
and add your test results to the Wiki. If you are too busy to do this
or are not comfortable with Wikis, I can do this for you. : )
Also, some of you may find the recent changes to the RC process to be
of interest. Review Zeevs' recent message titled [PHP-QA] 4.1.0 Final
RC for more information or drop by the Wiki. The guidelines are archived
on a page.
Thanks for your time!
