I can verify that LDAP works, at least on FreeBSD.
I have 4.1.0RC5 linked against OpenLDAP 2.0.18, and using that I can walk our Novell eDirectory
tree. (I'd post a URL for others to try it out, but uh, no.) )
I couldn't get OpenLDAP to build on MacOS X 10.1.1, at least not without some hacking... so I
moved over to a FreeBSD server and everything is cool.
