No way... php runs fine as a DSO module into apache webserver but i was unable to compile a php extension as a *.so. When trying '--with-dom=shared,/usr/local/libxml' i'm only receive ... [indigo2]:/tmp/php/lib/php/extensions/debug-non-zts-20010901 $ file domxml.a domxml.a: current ar archive containing 32-bit objects Gtk php compiles fine as a *.so. Btw. After appending '--with-ldap=/usr/local/ldap' '--with-pgsql=/usr/local/pgsql' at the configure string there is the segfault (linker) at the end of the make process again.
