Welcome rrp, I appreciate if you could test mbstring and PostgreSQL. Especially, mbstring is supposed to be a standard module in PHP 4.3.0. Need to test under Max OS X. -- Yasuo Ohgaki rrp@mac.com wrote:
I saw the note that Mac OS X computers were needed for testing, and I thought I might be able to help out. I have a couple computers running Mac OS X, so one would be fine for using as a development environment for php, I also have a Darwin/x86 box (being used purely for development) if there is any interest in that. I just recently got interested in php after I learned the language and started programming web sites in it. I don't know much about building it, as I have never gone through the process myself. But I have lots of experience in building other projects, so I should be able to figure out any details pertaining to php quickly. I currently spend most of my free time doing work for GNU-Darwin (http://www.gnu-darwin.org), where I've been working on the bootable installer CD among other things. I should have more free time in the coming months, which would allow me to help out in other projects. I do have knowledge of C and C++, although my skills are a little rusty at the moment. I'd be happy to help out in any way I can. If you just want ssh access to a box or more in depth involvement, just let me know. -rrp
