Hey. I'm new to the PHP world. Here's my setup: I'm running a Windows XP based machine and I downloaded and installed the latest version of the Apache server software for Windows. I then downloaded, unzipped, and followed ALL the instructions for the latest build of PHP for Windows (reading a detailed install guide on thickbook.com). Everything ran smoothly: the server test (I am running EVERYTHING locally....just for testing reasons), the phpinfo() query. However, after creating and trying to run a VERY simple program: <?php print "Hello Web!"; ?> I get the following errors in my log: [Tue Apr 16 20:43:46 2002] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Warning: Unable to load dynamic library 'C:/php-4.1.2-win32/extensions/php_curl.dll' - The specified module could not be found. [Tue Apr 16 20:43:46 2002] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] in Unknown on line 0 [Tue Apr 16 20:43:46 2002] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] PHP Warning: Unable to load dynamic library 'C:/php-4.1.2-win32/extensions/php_domxml.dll' - The specified module could not be found. and so on for EVERY .dll file. However, the files ARE located in that directory. Is there any reason why it won't run? P.S. Are my .php files supposed to automatically run when I double click on them? The only way I can attempt to view them is through my local server (127.0.0.1/test.php --> which is the problematic file, by the way). Thanks. Michael S. Potter youcanemaleme@hotmail.com
