Hi all, If you could test the latest pgsql module with Windows and/or older PostgreSQL, I'll appreciate it. PQclientEncoding is added from 7.0.x, so pg_client_encoding() will not be compiled in unless newer libpq is used. This can be portability problem of a PHP script. I've changed code so that pg_client_encoding()/pg_set_client_encoding() is always compiled for older libpq users. Please report the result if you could. Thank you. -- Yasuo Ohgaki -------- Original Message -------- Subject: cvs: php4 /ext/pgsql pgsql.c php_pgsql.h Date: Thu, 25 Apr 2002 01:42:23 -0000 From: yohgaki@dd.iij4u.or.jp (Yasuo Ohgaki) To: php-cvs@lists.php.net Newsgroups: php.cvs Followup-To: php.dev yohgaki Wed Apr 24 21:42:23 2002 EDT Modified files:
    /php4/ext/pgsql	pgsql.c php_pgsql.h
Log: pg_client_encoding/pg_set_client_encoding should be compiled always. Recent libpq has PQclientEncoding/PQsetClientEncoding regarless of multibyte support enabled or not. Reported by c@cornelia-boenigk.de # This should be merged, but need a little more testing.
