Hi Zoe,
Sorry for taking so long to answer your questions. I will update the FAQ accordingly. Hope you do not mind me replying with a CC to the list, since I do not want this to be a Lukas project (because I cannot pull it off alone anyways).

Lukas - I forgot the other question. A couple of the IBM guys were asking if the could do any kind of Webby stuff for TestFest. They'd probably want to use the Project Zero PHP impl but I'm not sure that's important. I wondered about a map showing locations of test events?Sure. David is already working on an interface for the upload/download stuff. Anything to make things more engaging is welcome (the list I started is kind of boring).
Or maybe some kind of automatic recognition thing, or a counter to show number of tests etc etc - I'm not really a Web person so probably best if I put you in touch with them directly if there is stuff you'd like done. I think they had some ideas....I do not want to complicate David's work too much. The goal will be to have a basic interface to upload tests, for moderators to review them and for submittors to get some feedback. Now more hands helping David is great. I am total ok with IBM show casing Project Zero as part of this and maybe David is even intrigued to move the current code he has on top of Project Zero (I am not sure what Project Zero brings with it, aside from an application server). Anyways once the basic stuff is in place, everybody can go crazy on features, as long as we stay within the decisions made (so for example we decided that this is not a contest, because we do not want us to have to deal with people that get ticked off that they are not number one on some high score list).
1. London UK - are you OK with them wanting to focus on XML? I'd like to persuade them to narrow it down to DOM but Matt was a bit nervous that it would be to hard.It all comes down to having mentors that can help with writing and review tests. So far nobody has replied on list to Lig's request for mentors to step up (I have emailed her a few hours ago if anyone mailed off list). I hope that we do not run into issues if not having mentors ..
2. Mentoring - I will mentor what ever extension London chose to focus on - it makes sense as I have to learn it anyway. *Unless* there is a real DOM expert (I'm not) who would be offended if they weren't asked or who would do a significantly better job than me.If anyone would be offended he needs to find a new play ground other than open source.
3. Just FYI - I think the IBM india folks are about to write a lot of GD tests. If people want to look at that area we should put them in touch so that they don't trip over each other :-).Which is why I am hoping that mentors step up and tell us what areas they are willing to mentor and what areas people should focus on, so that we can better synchronise the various efforts.
4. Slightly more difficult - David C asked me to put an Irish group on the Web for the whole of May. No specific plan - are you OK for me to do that? As I said - I haven't been on IRC for a while and don't particularly want to abuse my karma by doing something I don't totally understand. I'm not sure if you were looking for specific events - well - actually I thought you were, thats why i'm asking :-)Thats ok, we have not made it easy for groups to really come up with specific plans yet. So put anyone on there and as things will hopefully clear up over the course of the next 10-14 days we will get in touch with people to help make sure things get sufficiently solid. regards, Lukas
