Hi,
The current sign up list from testfest events and mentors can be seen here which Lig has collected diligently with just the right amount if persistence:
http://wiki.php.net/qa/testfest
I think for doing this the first time the amount of people is ok. Its big enough so that we can hope to make a real contribution but not too much either that we might end up being totally swamped and in the process pissing off potential contributors.
What I am still missing is more of a stir from our mentors, especially tutorial style blog posts that either expand the current documentation or just illustrate how to apply them I think this would increase awareness about the documentation we have and might also help in exposing things we are still missing in the documentation about phpt.
Aside from this David, Raphael and Ant seem hard at work on finishing up the interface for the contributors and mentors:

Starting Friday evening I will be online very little in the following 16 days (with only 2 days back home and the rest traveling the world on my Ultimate Frisbee mission). So I guess I will be missing the first couple of testfest events. Obviously the testfest thing is not just my thing, but I have gotten the feeling that I have been the "go-to guy" for peoples concerns. So if anyone still has some concerns, the time window to get in contact with me is closing. The better approach anyways would be to take things to this list.
Ah that reminds me, maybe we should encourage testfest participants and mentors to mingle in an IRC channel. Should be grab a new challenge for this or use some existing established one? I would propose either freenode or efnet. Most end users will more likely be on freenode, but most of the mentors will more likely be on efnet. Then again quite a lot of either groups will be on both. What are peoples thoughts on this?
regards,
Lukas
